Ruger is 4-5 years old. He has a beagle body, basset hound legs, and a pitbull's strength. Ruger loves other dogs and going to doggy daycare. He is very interested in cats, possibly too much so.

Ruger is potty trained and uses a dog door wonderfully. He is the most loving and cuddly dog. He loves to be right on your lap with you holding him and wants to be your best friend. He also has a lot of energy, so he's happiest when he's able to be exercised daily. His brain struggles to turn off, so he struggles to relax, but we have found some things that have helped.

Ruger has generalized and separation anxiety. He has been on several different types of medication with no effect on behavior. He would need to be kenneled when you are not around...but he would love to go everywhere with you! It would also be preferable if his new home has at least a 6ft fence

Ruger has also developed head tremors, but the vet has not found a cause. Thus far, it hasn't seemed to effect him at all.
